Where We Live is a show and podcast about Connecticut produced by Hartford’s WNPR. But it’s okay if Where You Live isn’t Where They Live, because you can listen to my conversation with host Lucy Nalpathanchil and my undergraduate creative writing mentor Tim Parrish at your leisure here. It was right fun to don the cans, try to speak directly into the mic, and not swear on live radio. Lucy and her producer Carmen Baskauf are so warm and easy to talk to and I’m in awe of Lucy’s ability to not say “um” and “you know” the way I now realize I do several times per sentence. And Tim is still one of my favorite people, and I can’t wait to be in conversation with him again at Barnes & Noble in the Brass City on Sunday.
